Taormina is a hat that shares the same block and proportions as Dylan’s Desire, Twisted Tyrolene and Attaboy MK II. This hat is formed from a vintage Capeline dating from the mid 20th century and is of extremely fine quality soft, dense pliable golden-ochre coloured felt. It has a 3” snap brim 5 1/2” open crown which has been lightly formed into a centre dent. It has a vintage upholstery trim band with a brass button and beaded tassel, a plumage of complimentary yellow feathers. Fully lined with a leather sweatband. This hat reminds me of Dean Martin somehow, and I feel it certainly has an Italian or Sicilian vibe about it.
