Raphaela is based on a shape and proportion that has become somewhat of a signature from my collection; the Attaboy MK II, Dylan’s Desire and Taormina are all formed from this crown and brim block ratio with brim trimmed to three inches. This had underwent several complete iterations before settling with this band, feather and amulet combination. Some hats find their character easily; some take a bit more time and patience! This hat has an embroidered purple band, original Edwardian brooch of tarnished brass with cut glass and faux pearls, a matching bead tassel and a plume of mixed feathers. It has a scalloped-edge brim, a feature only shared with Jack Of Hearts to date. Fully lined with leather sweatband.
