Hendrix was based on a bolero block which I have since repurposed to make another shape ensuring that this hat is the one and only to ever come from this block. The hat itself is made from a western-weight black felt which is extremely stiff and rigid allowing for a large, wide flat brim. While this is not a replica of Hendrix’s famous hat, it is an homage with a wonderful bohemian psychedelic vibe. It has a band formed of roughly twisted reclaimed sari silk, adorned with a Celtic-motif amulet and a tassel made from an Afghan nomadic tent adornment. It is unlined and features a leather sweatband.
